Around 150,000 of Mombasa's 1 million + population live in urban slum areas and on the streets. Street children are unfairly targeted by police, victims to illegal clean ups, and unjustly sentenced to prisons. Many street children in Mombasa become addicted to glue, using it to take away hunger pangs and stomach rotten food.
