Safeguarding Development Officer

Safeguarding Development Officer

ChildHope works with children who are considered the ‘hardest to reach’ within their communities, often children who are living and working on the streets, on dumpsites, or in other high-risk contexts. ChildHope’s approach relies first and foremost on local partnerships.

To harness and share the wealth of expertise that our global partners hold in the areas of child protection, safeguarding and children’s participation, we have developed a consultancy business together. Through our expert network we aim to improve the lives of thousands of children around the world.

The Safeguarding Development Officer will support ChildHope to strengthen the consultancy.

International development experience is not essential for this role. We particularly welcome applicants with a strong background in social work who are seeking a new challenge that enables them to ‘make a change’ and give hope to children around the world.

  • Are you currently working in a social work/care environment within the UK whose main focus is on children?
  • Are you looking for a change?
  • Do you want to build on your wealth of knowledge and expertise, and give some to us, by moving into the international sector?
